How long have you been writing? About forty years.

Do you have a specific writing style? I like using puns, torturing and creating words.

Do you write as a career? I never tried and never shall I.

Do you write full-time? Ahahah! Writing is exhausting.

What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment as a writer? An interview by Catfish McDaris.

What is your ultimate goal as a writer? Going on writing.

What is your greatest challenge as a writer? See just above.

What projects of yours have been recently published? A private-eye erotifunnic novel entitled “Un privé à bas bilan” (Cactus Inébranlable éditions).

What are you currently working on and what inspired this work? a) Irreflections and schoolboyish lists. b) Everyday life.

Where can we find your work? Some books in Belgian best-sellers-rejecting bookshops; some by my publishers.

       How often do you write? Every time I feel I have something to write.

       How do you react to rejections? I reacjection. I don’t mind.

       How do you react when one of your submissions is accepted for publication? One more mad publisher!

       What is your best piece of advice on how to stay sane as a writer? Write about what you feel, don’t follow the literary “fashion”, stay yourself.

       What is your favorite book? The one I’m reading.

       Who is your favorite author? In French: Jacques Sternberg. In English: Richard Brautigan.

        If you could have dinner with one fictional character, who would it be and why? Philip Marlowe, to have him taste Chimay bleue in place of his insipid whiskey sour.
        What is the greatest occupational hazard for a writer? Ask a writer!

        What is your favorite word? The next I’ll invent.

        What makes you laugh? Nearly everything.

      What makes you cry? The death of a close relative or friend. I rarely cry.

What is your preferred drink while you write? Chimay bleue.

Cats or Dogs? Dogs, but no more pet for three years.
